OPP is effective against a wide variety of mold fungi and bacterica for the preservation of glues and adhesives, polymer emulsions (coatings, PVA systems and rubber), thickeners ( starch, cellulose, guar, etc.), paper, textiles, dyes, temporary sapstain control for fresh cut lumber, concrete additives/ masonry, metalworking fluids, air filter oils, starches, clay slurries, printing inks,graphite, and hard surface treatment products (polishes, waxes and ceramic glazes).
